The Summer Breeze Music Project by Bill Miles is a music performance act with a growing repertoire of nearly 100 songs of feel good favorites from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. Bill sings and plays either piano or acoustic guitar with additional supporting background parts arranged by Bill via MIDI. The goals of the Summer Breeze Music Project are:
- Tribute the well known songs and original music artists
- Convey a sense of appreciation for music from that era
- Kindle warm feelings and fond memories for this music
Bill Miles Musical Bio
Bill Miles grew up in the Chicagoland area. He began his professional music career as an orchestra pit percussionist for the Illinois Theatre Center in Park Forest, IL at the age of 15.
Bill majored in music at Northern Illinois University and performed all over Europe with the NIU Jazz Ensemble as a percussionist.
He has toured much of the continental US in Top 40 bands playing drums, keyboards and singing lead as well as background harmonies.
Bill has also taught public school music in Illinois and Arizona. Bill currently lives in Mesa, Arizona working by day as a web developer and performing popular music in the Summer Breeze Music Project nights and weekends.
