Thoughts On A Thursday

by 3nam3s@gmail.com on 5/6/2021

One of my favorite parts about watching SBMP play is the tidbits of history that Bill throws into his sets. I, myself, am a nerd at heart and love hearing about the stories that go with some of the songs that are performed. Hearing about why Billy Joel decided to make "It's Still Rock and Roll To Me" while enjoying an almost spot on performance of the song is something that I don't think I could ever get tired of. Or hearing about the story of why Jim Croce made "Don't Mess Around With Jim", and to learn about Jim's time in the army. Stuff like that makes for memorable experiences for the listener, and makes mine and Mila's jobs SUPER easy.

If you are a history buff, love some great easy listening tunes, and want to enjoy some awesome Mother's Day views; head over to Las Sendas on Sunday!
