Gordon Lightfoot is a Canadian singer-songwriter and guitarist who is a legendary giant in folk, folk-rock, and country music. He helped define the folk-pop sound of the 1960s and 1970s. Gordon is often thought of as Canada's greatest songwriter and is known internationally as a folk-rock legend.

Several years ago when I first began conceptualizing Summer Breeze Music Project I immediately wanted to convey several things.
1. Music to help people feel good.
2. Songs from the past which people loved but maybe forgot about.
3. Songs with a positive message.
4. Provide a tribute to the artists of these beloved songs.

Since Bill Miles, Summer Breeze Music project began in 2019, the song repertiore has steadly grown over the past few years. With careful song selection, rehearsal, arrangement, demo-recording and live performances, Summer Breeze Music Project has reached a milestone of 100 songs in its high quality repertoire.

I went to the Doobie Brothers 50 Anniversary Concert Tour last night. The Doobie Bros are still going strong after 50 years. Truly amazing. I was particularly impressed by vocal harmonies. Everyone in the band contributed to sing harmonies and they were all solid.

Did you know that one of greatest popular singer-songwriters of the 20th Century - Neil Diamond attended New York University with a fencing scholarship and later became a pre-med student?
He left college during his final year to take a job as a professional songwriter in New York.

One of my goals in performing the Summer Breeze Music Project repertoire out in public is to help people feel good. To kindle warm feelings and fond memories from that "Feel Good" time in pop music history is important to me.
